As part of the Knox Over 55s Zest4Life program, Knox Leisureworks has a range of exercise classes that you can get involved in, that are suitable for a range of ages and all levels of fitness.

To celebrate Active April, Knox Leisureworks is encouraging seniors to get active and healthy! They are doing this by offering seniors free sessions to their Living Longer, Living Stronger, Aqua and exercise classes that are specifically designed for older adults.

Make Your Own Teeny Ziney Book - Creative, collaborative, fun!

Come and have fun with zines — small, limited-edition self-published books — with acclaimed author/artist Elizabeth Honey. She’ll show you favourites from her collection, and brainstorm ideas. Based on Elizabeth Honey’s popular picture book, its themes of growth, transformation, tuning into nature, and caring for other people across age and cultural difference are timely and universal.

Dance Like Taylor Swift – Shake it off!

Cultural and historic tour of Springvale Botanical Cemetery and lunch

This is being offered as part of the Knox Over 55s Zest4Life program and will include an introduction to the Centre for Care and Wellbeing and free lunch.

Life Cycle 55+ Explore Knox

Life Cycle 55+ Explore is a program for older adults. These rides are all about exploring your local area and take place on Saturdays at 8.30 am from Kings Park in Upper Ferntree Gully. The rides take place on local bike paths, roads or trails and are designed to develop rider confidence, but are also perfect for those who just want to ride.

If you are looking for a fun and a social way to stay active while riding your bike, with the support of a qualified riding leader, this is the perfect way to begin. Everyone is welcome regardless of riding ability!

First 2 rides are free - then $5 a week.

Ferntree Gully Laughter Club
