Pricing for Maximum Profit

9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Small Business Victoria logo
Getting your pricing right is vital for ensuring business profitability. Pricing strategy determines both business revenue and buyer behaviour. Business owners need to consider: gross margin, mark up, what competitors are charging or even what they need to survive or ‘want’ to price their product or service at.

Participants will learn what makes up an effective pricing strategy and the secret to finding the balance between profits and increasing market share. They will discover how to avoid the five most common mistakes of pricing and get the right skills and tools to achieve their business objectives.

To help implement their pricing strategy, participants will also have access to a free one-on-one mentoring session with an experienced small business mentor.

Friday, 23 June 2017
9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Worms
Whether you are new to composting and worm farming, or you have some experience but need help to solve some problems, this is the workshop for you! Having your own home compost heap or worm farm is a great way to create your own fertiliser and soil conditioner for the garden. It also helps to recycle waste products from your home and reduces waste going into your rubbish bin.
Composting expert, Vasili, will share tips on how to create a healthy compost heap or worm farm, and how to use these products on your garden. There will also be time to ask your composting and worm farming questions.
