The Knox Local Australia Day Awards are a great opportunity for you to recognise a friend, family member, community leader or colleague who has made a beneficial contribution to the Knox community.

| Nominations are now open in the following categories |
 | Citizen of the Year | | Young Citizen of the Year | | Volunteer of the Year | | Local Hero

| Award recipients will be announced at an Australia Day Breakfast and flag raising ceremony to be held on 26 January 2010 at the Knox Civic Centre.

| How can I nominate someone for these awards? | | To nominate someone you know for their contribution to our community, simply complete a nomination form and return to Council. The close of nominations has been extended to 4pm on Monday, 30 November 2009.
