| The Knox Bicycle Plan was adopted by Council at its August 2008 Council meeting. The objectives of the plan were to:

 | consider the progress of bicycle facility implementation since the last bicycle plan review; | | identify underlying principles for future development; | | consider the community's needs; | | develop new programs for bicycle facilities; and | | encourage and support the increase in the use of bicycles as a means of transport throughout the City of Knox.
