Knowing Knox... Advanced Training in Online Demographics  Printer Friendly

If you are seeking funds, applying for grants or wanting to take the planning for your community group to the next level, this workshop is for you. More and more now, funding agencies are requiring community groups to provide ‘evidence’ or information about their community as part of their funding or grant application.

Combining multiple tools – the Knox Community Profile (2006), Community Atlas (2006) and Population Forecasts (to 2031), this hands on, computer-based workshop incorporates more advanced analysis for those already familiar with using on-line demographics.

This computer-based workshop will enable volunteer and non-profit community groups to gain greater insight into how demographics apply to real-world situations; and how to use demographics in their work to inform policy and persuade decision makers.

Places are limited, book early to avoid disappointment.
