Knox City Council is comprised of nine democratically elected Councillors who are charged with the responsibility of planning for the future sustainability of our community.

To support the Council in its role, a Chief Executive Officer is appointed to manage staff and the day to day operational activities of Council. Council staff provide advice and expertise to the Council to assist with policy development and decision making. Staff are then responsible for implementing Council’s decisions.
