Knox Carols by Candlelight

Saturday 3 December 2016, 4pm - 10pm (Carols to commence at 8pm)
Wally Tew Reserve, Brenock Park Drive, Ferntree Gully
Free Entry

Something for everyone

Knox's Carols by Candlelight returns in 2016 with an amazing program of festive favourites and stellar performers.

Last year, the show was headlined by Australian pop superstars Luke Kennedy (The Voice Australia) and Paulini (Australian Idol), who were joined by rockers Skipping Girl Vinegar and Nick Barker. They were supported by more than 150 performers and musicians who dazzled in a remarkable stage production.

It was a warm day, but as the sun went down, people arrived with their family and friends, picnic blankets and chairs and settled in at Wally Tew Reserve to celebrate the festive season in style.

The highlights (and favourites) included:

  • A star-studded line up featuring Luke Kennedy (The Voice Australia), Paulini (Australian Idol) and Skipping Girl Vinegar (Melbourne indie-rock stalwarts).
  • Nick Barker performed a not-to-be-missed cover of Steve Earle's Christmas classic 'Nothing But a Child'.
  • The Australian Navy Band filled the stage and Asanti Dance Theatre performed a show-stopping 'Christmas in Africa' special
  • The always popular appearance by Santa Claus, and
  • The fireworks display finishing the night with a bang!

Family fun from 4pm
