Music and Mindfulness for Young People

Music and Mindfulness Drop-in Group

Do you love music? Would you like to learn about how mindfulness and music can help you cope with day-to-day stress?

Music & Mindfulness is a safe, supportive group for young people 15-18 years of age who live, work, study or are connected to Knox.

The group will be facilitated by Lisa, Youth Counsellor/Social Worker, Knox Youth Services, and Asami, Music Therapist - Collective Music Therapy.

To participate you don’t need any musical or performance skills. The group is a drop-in group so just text your name and age to 0418365281 each Tuesday you are attending, so we know numbers and can contact you if we need to cancel.

So what happens at the group?

Each week we will listen to music and learn new mindfulness skills like drawing, visualising/relaxation and journaling/song-writing.

Just come and listen to music with us, chat and have fun!

Time: 4:30pm - 6:30pm
