Public transport services in Knox are operated by a number of different companies. Details on where to access further information including timetables and the Public Transport Victoria (PTV) journey planner are outlined below.

Public Transport Timetables

You can pick up timetables from your local train station, download them from the PTV website or even request them to be delivered to you. Contact PTV on 1800 800 007 or visit the
Public Transport Victoria Timetables page.

Myki Cards

Myki is a smart-card ticketing system that integrates all of Victoria’s Public Transport needs.

Myki cards can be purchased from any bus or tram interchange, train station or at numerous selected retail outlets. Online and telephone purchases with home delivery are also available.

Taxi Services

Taxis provide a convenient, flexible, 24-hour travel option. By complementing other forms of travel, the use of taxis may even provide an efficient alternative to the purchase of a private vehicle.

Telebus

Telebus services allow passengers within specific areas to:

Board/depart at fixed stops along the scheduled route; or
Nominate a pick-up or drop off point for an extra $1

At present, the surcharge is paid towards the driver on top of the standard bus fare (charged as per normal on Myki).

How do I get to Melbourne Airport from Knox?

Off on a holiday? Here are some airport shuttle bus options for you to ensure you board your flight on time:

Skybus (Tullamarine)

Available bus transfer service between Southern Cross and Tullamarine International Airport. Buses are available every 10 mins and tickets can be purchase online or at Southern Cross Station. One way adult tickets start at $17 per person.

Airport Bus Eastside (Tullamarine)

Available pick up from Knox City Shopping Centre Bus Terminal and Stud Park Shopping Centre near the Clock Tower. Door to Door services are also available within the area. Advanced booking required.

Avalon Airport Transfers (Avalon)

Available transfers from Southern-Cross Station to Avalon Airport. All bus services are timed to meet departing and arriving flights.
