What is Batteryback?
Batteryback is a free service for householders to drop off old, flat and unwanted rechargeable batteries for recycling at participating retail stores.

Who is providing the service?
Batteryback™ is an initiative of Sustainability Victoria, Australian Battery Recycling Initiative, Bunnings, Coles, Michaels Camera aToMik Green and Officeworks.

For more information and to find out the drop off locations call Sustainability Victoria on 1300 636 744 or visit ResoursceSmart Website

Is Batteryback a permanent service?
No. The program is currently being trialed to gauge community response to the service. This, and information on the types of batteries that are collected through Batteryback, will help to determine the future of an industry-wide battery collection model.
