| Information @ YIC | | Information is available on a variety of subjects including: Knox Youth Services, accommodation, drugs and alcohol, counselling, employment and training, legal, consumer rights and responsibilities, relationships, and resources relating to studies.
Counsellors from Eastern Drug & Alcohol Services (EDAS) can assist young people up to 21 years of age with issues relating to drugs and alcohol.
As well as obtaining information, young people are welcome to come in and talk to the workers, exploring the various options to find their best outome.
Often young people find it helpful to talk through their problems with someone who is objective, allowing them to look at their situation from a different and perhaps clearer perspective. Where appropriate, referrals will be made to more specialised services. | |
| Programs | | The YIC can also provide information on programs and services that operate from the Youth Information Centre, or through Knox Youth Services.
