This Footpath and Shared Path Asset Management Plan defines Council’s operational and strategic techniques for managing the footpath and shared path networks.

The plan considers all lifecycle requirements and is intended to assist with decision making and enable Council to obtain an optimal return on its investment in these public assets.

The plan comprises a main report and several attachments. To view the main report and the associated attachments click on the relevant link at the bottom of this page.

This Footpath Asset Management Plan consists of the following:

Main Report (including Attachments 1, 2, and 4.)
Maps (Attachments 3 & 5.)
 
Asset Preservation Officers inspect works by builders, developers and service providers to ensure that Council’s existing assets are maintained in a satisfactory condition whilst development of the municipality continues.
