Dog Play Park Improvement Work
If you're a regular user of our Dog Play Park in Knoxfield, the construction works are complete and the park is now fully open. The park is holding up ok considering how popular the site is and how much rain we have had of late. Remember this park is a natural drainage reserve and turf surface and extensive use during wet weather will impact on the quality of the site.

Below you will find a link to the latest Information sheet on the use of the dog park particularly in relation to responding to the weather and dog owners responsibilities.

The Dog Play Park at the Knox Park Reserve (corner of Bunjil Way) Ferntree Gully Road, Knoxfield. Melway reference 73D6.

We apologise for any inconvenience for pet owners, but encourage you to check out our special brochure about Dogs in Public Places for information on caring for your dog outdoors in Knox.

Dog Play Park
Off leash parkKnox City Council's first ever fully fenced off leash dog play park is now open! Although the park is fully fenced off the use of the area is at the risk of the dog owner. Dog owners must be present and have control of their dogs at all times.

Where is the park?
You will find the Dog Play Park at the Knox Park Reserve (corner of Bunjil Way) Ferntree Gully Road, Knoxfield. Melway reference 73D6.

Why a dog park?
Socialising is important. The park will provide an ideal setting for dogs to socialise with other pets while being a safer environment that enables off leash exercise.

We've made the park fun too with the inclusion of several agility items such as hurdles, tunnel and weave poles.

Just right for your pet
The dog park will be perfect for a whole range of dog ages and abilities and we're confident owners will enjoy the experience as they watch their pets gain from the new space.

For more information please contact us on 9298 8000 during business hours.
