Application for Stormwater (Drainage) Information Report

This application is for a Stormwater (Drainage) Information Report that will include any information held by Council that relates to details of pipes within easements on, or adjacent to, the property; and where the nominated site or parcel of land is to discharge its stormwater to the Council stormwater network. This point of connection to the Council system is known as the Approved Point of Discharge (APD).

A standard fee of $144.70 (GST exempt) is payable for the Stormwater (Drainage) Information Report. This is a statutory fee set by the Victorian Government. Alternately, should you wish to access the stormwater information free of charge, this is available to you through the 'Dial Before You Dig' service. How to apply

Applications for Stormwater (Drainage) Information Reports can be submitted online. Payment via credit card is required when submitting your application. You need to be registered to use this online service.

If you need assistance completing the online application or have a query related to stormwater management in Knox, please contact Council's Stormwater Department on 9298 8000.

Your request for a Stormwater (Drainage) Information Report will be allocated to one of Council's Stormwater engineers to review and generate the report. We aim to respond to all requests for Stormwater (Drainage) Information Reports within five (5) working days.
