Home Maintenance

Gutter cleaning

What is Home Maintenance?

The aim of this service is to provide basic, practical assistance to maintain a safe and secure home environment.

It is a 'handyperson' service for minor tasks such as the replacement of light globes, tap washers, smoke detectors, gutter cleaning, and minor repairs such as windows, doors, handles, etc. The Home Maintenance programme is not able to assist with jobs that require the skills of a qualified tradesperson, e.g. plumber or electrician.

Please note that the service does not include any gardening, lawn mowing or window cleaning.

We have a separate service for more complex home modifications which require a specialised functional assessment of the client to be undertaken by an Occupational Therapist. See here for Home Modifications.
