56 Kingloch Parade, Wantirna (formerly Wantirna Heights School)

The Fast Track Government Land Service is a State Government initiative to deliver changes to planning provisions on land owned by the Victorian Government. As part pf the planning scheme amendment process, the planning proposal will be referred to the Government Land Standing Advisory Committee. The Government Land Standing Advisory Committee provides independent advice on the planning proposal to the Minister for Planning. You can have your say by making a submission directly to the Advisory Committee via the Engage Victoria web page.

The Amendment - C165Knox

The Minster for Planning is the Responsible Authority for the Amendment (known as C165Knox). The Amendment documentation and contact details are available on the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning website.

The Site

The former school site has an area of 1.25 hectares and has frontages to Kingloch Parade and Greenlow Avenue. The site is located between Mountain Highway and Boronia Road in a predominantly residential area with good access to Schultz Reserve, Wantirna Mall as well as education and health services.

The land at 56 Kingloch Parade, Wantirna (the site) has been determined surplus to the Victorian Government’s current and future requirements. The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF), on behalf of the landowner Department of Education and Training (DET), has requested that the planning provisions for the site be changed to reflect that it is no longer required for public use and to help facilitate its sale.
