Quarry Reserve

Upcoming works at Quarry Reserve

Quarry Reserve is a much-loved open space in Ferntree Gully, giving the community a unique opportunity to connect with nature. The reserve is a great place for a range of nature-based recreational activities for the positive physical and mental well-being for the Knox community and visitors alike.

Knox Council is working in collaboration with the Federal and State Governments to provide additional facilities and amenities at Quarry Reserve. In 2015, a Masterplan was designed to guide and inform future development and improvements within Quarry Reserve.

Building on the original Masterplan principles to provide improved access to the public open space of Quarry Reserve and to enhance opportunities for both active and passive recreation, Council has prepared a schematic plan indicating proposed future works (refer to Upcoming Works map below).
