Events Cancelled

Knox City Council has made the decision to cancel all non-essential events and gatherings until further notice. This decision has been made following the lead of the State Government in light of the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in Victoria. Council has chosen not to proceed with these events in the interests of public safety and community reassurance.

Ticket holders to paid events will be contacted by Council regarding refund arrangements.

Council encourages all Knox residents and visitors to continue following the advice of DHHS on hygiene and safety practices and to remain informed on the latest details at

Hire Our Venue

The Knox Community Arts Centre is available for hire for Theatre, Seminars, Meetings, Dance concerts, and more.

The venue incorporates three separate hire areas that include a supper room with a commercial kitchen, a performance auditorium with stage and tiered seating for 172 or flat seating for 120.

Lulu’s winding back the clock to Britain’s 'summer of love' with fascinating and hilarious tales of her rise to fame - singing on Ed Sullivan, co-starring with Sidney Poitier, singing Boom Bang a Bang on Eurovision, touring with The Beach Boys, partying with The Beatles and marrying a Bee Gee!
Oh, and let’s not forget that world-wide number one hit with the title song from her very own movie To Sir With Love!

Eagles story

The Eagles Story Cancelled

In a musical landscape littered with 'close enough is good enough', the commitment to replicating the true west coast Eagles sound, live on stage by the five members of The Eagles Story is never ending.

The respect for the original by members Pete McCarthy, Gary Young, Ash Osgood, Cres Crisp & Steve Wells is the driving force that continues to ensure that each in their own right continue to take it to the limit. Unlike other tributes to The Eagles, The Eagles Story is all about reality, real voices, singing real harmonies and real players, making great live music.

The Eagles Story is an incredible experience filled with amazing harmonies, memorable melodies, and those incredible guitar duets that became the trade mark for the band.

Make Your Parents DisappearCancelled

After blowing away the nation in the grand final of Australia’s Got Talent, Alex and Luke will be appearing at Knox Community Arts Centre with some astonishing trickery to fool your parents!

Two of Melbourne’s most mind-bending magicians, Alex and Luke are regular guests on Kids' WB on Channel GO and are among a handful of Australian magicians to have been invited to perform on America's Got Talent.

They have also represented Australia on the Battle for the Best Variety Act on German TV and at the World Famous Hollywood Magic Castle in California.

You may recognise Alex and Luke from other 2D appearances on TV shows such as the Today Show, Morning Show, Stand and Deliver, and Totally Wild. Catch them live at Knox Community Arts Centre to see their magic in jaw-dropping 3D.

Back at the Knox Community Arts Centre by popular demand, 'Pavarotti - King of the High C's' is a thrilling musical biography of one the finest classical artists of the 20th Century.

Selections include: Nessun dorma, La donna mobile, Vesti la giubba, Ave Maria, O sole mio, My Way & La Vie en rose.

Woven into this exquisite program of arias and popular song are stories and anecdotes from Pavarotti’s life and his career which paint a vivid portrait of Pavarotti the artist and Pavarotti the man.

Performed by David Rogers Smith (Carmen, Madam Butterfly, Pagliacci & The Phantom of the Opera)

Judy Garland

The Songs of Judy Garland

Helpmann Award winning musical theatre performer, Amanda Harrison, is back with a brand new show! The star of the original Australian productions of Wicked, Officer and a Gentleman, We Will Rock You and most recently The Rocky Horror Picture Show is now performing her one woman show ‘Judy!’ to audiences around Australia. Yes, having played Liza Minnelli in The Boy from Oz alongside Todd McKenney, Amanda thought it was time to step it up a notch and pay tribute to Liza’s legendary mum!

Amanda’s soaring vocals capture the essence of Judy Garland as she delivers a fresh take on these classic tunes and shares hilarious and heartbreaking anecdotes from the extraordinary life of this legendary artist.

Songs include Get Happy, The Man that Got Away, You Made Me Love You, Stormy Weather, The Trolley Song, Come Rain or Come Shine, When You’re Smiling, Zing Went the Strings of My Heart and Over the Rainbow!

‘Tusk- The Storybook Tribute to Fleetwood Mac’ is not just a tribute band, but a journey through the intimate stories that are behind the songs creations.

An emotionally charged, intense performance, giving the audience a peek into what makes Fleetwood Mac one of the greatest bands of all time.

Penni Perrin's portrayal of Stevie Nicks is not only hauntingly authentic vocally, but shows the young innocence of our leading lady that was only ever captured in early footage.

Together this group breathe life into the music that changed the world, and will take you on a journey from Rumours all the way through to Tango In The Night.

Rubber Soul

The Beatles Show

Rubber Soul recreate the atmosphere and energy of a real 'LIVE' Beatles concert. The band has toured Internationally and Nationally, playing the hits everybody has come to know and love. Rubber Soul perform songs like She Loves You, Please Please Me, Day Tripper and other classics like Strawberry Fields, I am The Walrus, Get Back and Hey Jude.

Every audience has been amazed at the faithful recreation of the Beatles sound by Rubber Soul which use authentic Beatles instruments.

Rubber Soul also feature costumes to recreate the look of the Beatles from their early suits to the outfits seen on the most significant album in Pop Music history... Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.

So get your Ticket to Ride and let Rubber Soul take you on a Magical Mystery Tour through the hits and nostalgia of the Beatles.

As sound melds seamlessly with world-class technical ability and energetic stage presence, the performers display precisely what we love about juggling in every way possible, incorporating competition, danger, music and teamwork.

Colourful, visual, turbulent and fun, Jugg Life is a show for the entire family.

Look no further for a family show that's fun, interactive, entertaining and literally out of this world!

Dinomania is a family show spectacular that allows imaginations to run wild. The audience will embark on an awe-inspiring, exhilarating and gripping journey back to an age when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

They will come face to face with FOUR dinosaurs and a quirky cast as the battle unfolds to find out who is the real champion of dinosaurs - the T-Rex or the Raptor! There are plenty of surprises, songs and dancing from start to finish, plus a special Kids Zone for an up-close and personal experience.

Pre-show entertainment includes giveaways and a children’s entertainer to provide excitement, so make sure you come dressed up as your favorite dinosaur. There are prizes to be won for the best dressed!
You may even be lucky enough to be picked out of the audience to join these prehistoric dino’s on stage.

Nina Ferro is one of the brightest stars of the international jazz scene. Her powerful, evocative voice, stunning vocal range and extraordinary stage presence have earned her an enviable reputation at home and around the world. Who better to pay tribute to The Queen of Jazz - the great Ella Fitzgerald!

Lady Be Good is a joyous, swinging tribute to the First Lady of Song and the legends of The Great American Songbook she most loved to interpret - George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Rodgers & Hart, Cole Porter and Duke Ellington.

Songs include 'How High The Moon', 'The Lady is a Tramp', 'Blue Skies', 'Love For Sale', 'It Don’t Mean a Thing If It Aint Got That Swing', and 'Someone to Watch Over Me'.

Blues Brothers

Blues Brothers Tribute Show

The Australasian 21st Century Blues Brothers Tribute Show adds a new perspective and unique twist on the classic Blues Brother's antics that we all know and love.

The show is a tribute to the late, great Jake Blues, with brother Zee taking lead and Elwood along for the ride! Joining them is the feisty Ellie as Jake’s long-lost daughter and Twiggy as the backing singer with an excessive attitude.

The show brings a high standard of musicianship and theatrical mayhem, where anything can, and usually does happen due to the characters' freedom to improvise and engage with the audience.

They’ve got half a tank of gas, sunglasses on, and they’re on a mission from God!

The Amazing Travelling Comedy Tour

The Amazing Traveling Comedy Tour (TATCT) is a partnership formed to bring Australia’s best new comedic artists to audiences outside major cities.

They are Australia’s only dedicated stand-up comedy touring company focused on regional audiences, and the only multi-performer tour to visit regional towns other than the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow.

This event will feature five outstanding comedians, including some of Australia’s best established and up and coming comedians.

Join award-winning pianist and vocalist, Craig Schneider, as he explores the full spectrum of piano music from classical through ragtime, jazz and blues to rock and roll.

Featuring music and songs from Frederic Chopin, Billy Joel, Elton John, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Nat 'King' Cole, Dave Brubeck, Barry Manilow, Peter Allen, Jerry Lee Lewis and Oscar Peterson, the show is a tour de force of piano music. From the great classical composers to popular and rock artists and the technical wizardry of the jazz greats, Craig takes the audience on a journey of discovery of the wonderful music made by the men who, like him, love the piano.

You’ve never been to Christmas party quite like this! Mario Lanza’s pouring eggnog for Bette Midler while Nat King Cole plays swinging versions of Silent Night and Come All Ye Faithful!

Fabulous vocal arrangements, Jokes about Three Wise Men walking into a stable - and it wouldn’t be Christmas without a good sing-a-long round the Steinway!

Mary’s Boy Child, Cool Yule, Oh Holy Night, Santa Baby, Jerusalem and of course Santa Claus Is Coming To Town!
