You're My World - The Cilla Black Story (Performance)

‘You’re My World’ is a biographical cabaret full of the powerhouse vocals and self-deprecating humour that made Cilla Black one of the UK’s most beloved performers.

Star Danielle O’Malley is a seasoned musical theatre performer and plays the part of Cilla Black in costume, telling Cilla's stories in Cilla's voice! She channels this icon of the 60s with uncanny accuracy live onstage with 3 of Melbourne's finest musicians.

Songs will include: It’s For You, You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’, Alfie, Step Inside Love, Sing A Rainbow, Anyone Who Had A Heart, Yesterday and You're My World.

That’s not a Daffodil is a simple story of friendship between a solitary young boy and his elderly Turkish neighbour. Alive with music, movement, puppetry and animation, it’s funny and full of surprises - a treat for little kids and families.

Based on Elizabeth Honey’s popular picture book, its themes of growth, transformation, tuning into nature, and caring for other people across age and cultural difference are timely and universal.

This outstanding children’s theatre show about friendship, music, planting and playfulness had sell-out premiere seasons in Melbourne and the Kyneton Arts Festival in 2016.

Dinosaur Time Machine incorporates up to date science and discoveries made about dinosaurs and the world that they lived in, and presents it in a fun and highly visual way, incorporating circus, puppetry, simple narrative and imaginative play in this unique educational theatre production, aimed at children aged 3-9.

Dinosaur Time Machine was awarded Adelaide Advertisers ‘Best Children’s Show’ of the Adelaide Fringe 2016.

The Knox Community Arts Centre is available for hire for:

The venue incorporates three separate hire areas that include a supper room which is connected to a commercial kitchen, a performance auditorium with stage and tiered seating for 172 or flat seating for 120.
