Celebrate Knox’s vibrant community with live music and performances, local art, amusements, food trucks, community stalls and activities for the whole family.
Date: Saturday 28 February 2026
Time: 10 am to 10 pm
Location: Wally Tew Reserve. Brenock Park Drive in Ferntree Gully.
Knox Fest is an all ages, family friendly, alcohol, smoke, vape, drug and pet free event (assistance animals welcome)
There will be a fireworks display at 9:45pm. Please secure all pets indoors during this time.

Getting to Knox Fest
There is no public parking at the event. Please walk, ride or take our free shuttle bus to the festival.
Do not park:
- on nature strips
- in front of driveways
- where there is a continuous white line
Adhere to all road rules and signage.
- Best pedestrian entry points are via Burwood Highway and Brenock Park Drive
- Bike parking is located near the Lyndale Court entry. Please BYO bike lock.
- Accessible parking is located via the Burwood Highway entrance.
- Parking IS NOT permitted on Blackwood Park Drive
Free shuttle bus to Knox Fest
Two free shuttle buses will be running on a regular loop to and from the event, starting at 11am.
Bus one will run between Ferntree Gully Station and Brenock Park Drive.
Bus two will run between Upper Ferntree Gully Station, Kings Park and Brenock Park Drive.
Note to passengers:
- Shuttle bus cannot transport electric wheelchairs or mobility scooters
- Prams/child seats are the responsibility of the parent/carer/guardian.
- Some buses may not have seatbelts
What to bring
- Please bring a bottle of water and keep it topped up at our free water stations
- Dress for the weather - remember to wear a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses
- You are welcome to bring in your own food, or purchase some from our many delicious food vendors on site.
What can't I bring
- No BYO alcohol or glass
- No dogs or pets (assistance or support dogs are welcome)
- Balloons
- Large shade structures
Lost kids
Head to the Information Tent to grab a wristband.
There will be plenty of Knox staff and contractors on site to assist with your little ones.
On the day, head to your nearest event staff member or the info tent for assistance.
Accessibility
We welcome patrons of all abilities, and are keen to support a great day for all, by providing the following accessibility features:
- A Changing Places facility is available at the Wally Tew Reserve, located at the permanent toilet block near the windmill
- Accessible parking is available via the Burwood Highway entrance
- Sealed paths to assist patrons to make their way around the festival. Some activities take place on grassed/uneven surfaces and inside the Ferntree Gully Community Arts Centre.
- A Chill Out Space is available for those needing a break from the busy festival site.

Road and park closures
To allow the festival to take place, there will be some limitations to accessing the reserve.
Wednesday 25 February to Thursday 26 February:
- Parts of Wally Tew Reserve will be closed
- No public access to the southern oval
- Limited carpark access (please use the library carpark)
Friday 27 February to Sunday 1 March:
- Wally Tew Reserve will be closed
- No access to the playground
- No public access to the southern oval
- Expect road closures and delays in the area.
