| If you are opening, purchasing or selling a food premises or if you plan to serve food as part of your accommodation premises there are a number of permits you need to apply for before you can open your premises including: | |

| The environmental health team at Council can assist you with setting up a food premises within the municipality. For additional information please contact the environmental health team on 9298 8165.
Please note permits may also be required from the Planning and Building Departments. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all appropriate permits have been sought. | |
| Temporary Food Stall/Registration/Notification | | If you are planning to operate a temporary food premises such as a community fundraiser, sausage sizzle or cake stall you need to contact Health Services on 9298 8581. | |
| Food Safety Training and Food Safety Supervisor Requirements | | Visit the Victorian Department of Health website for information about current food safety training and food safety supervisor requirements. There are also links to relevant training authorities where you can go if you are required to complete food safety training. | |
