| TOURING KNOX BY BIKE | | Knox has over 70 kilometres of bicycle paths around the municipality, making it one of the most cycling-orientated cities in Victoria.
The Knox Bike Network will take you to local parks, reserves, leisure centres, historic homesteads, shopping centres, waterways and much more. It is a great way to the see the City. There are many excellent locations along the bike path for picnics, as well as scenic spots where you can sit and take in the view. Pedestrians and cyclists are permitted to use the paths, and cyclists should give way to pedestrians.

| BIKE PARKING SURVEY | | WE NEED YOUR HELP AND WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
As bicycles are increasingly being used for transport within Knox, so is the demand for secure bicycle parking facilities. To support the use of bicycles, Council has allocated funding for the installation of bike hoops throughout the municipality. If you have a particular place where you would like to see bike parking, please send us an email or write a letter detailing the location and why it is needed to:

| BIKE PARKING LOCATIONS | | Knox City Council aims to improve sustainable transport infrastructure to ensure that alternative modes to the single occupant car are feasible.
As a result, we are continuously increasing the availability of bicycle parking facilities within the municipality. Click on the link below to explore the available and registered bike parking within the municipality.

| TRAIN STATION (PARKITEER) BIKE CAGE ACCESS | | Want safe and convenient bike parking at train stations? Bicycle Victoria, in conjunction with the Department of Transport, has established bike cages at numerous train stations around Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria.
Location
Parkiteer Bike Cages can be found at these train stations within Knox:
• Bayswater Train Station
• Ferntree Gully Train Station
