| Inception of the Youth Clinic | | The Knox Youth Clinic is a service of Knox Community Health Service, in partnership with Knox City Council, to fill a local gap in youth services, identified by a survey conducted in 2009.
Through the KISS (Knox Innovative Sexual health Strategy) Project, young people highlighted their need for different types of health care advice. They wanted confidentiality, drop-in facilities, youth-related staff, and free services that were accessible by public transport. Most of all, they wanted specific services that were not currently provided in the area.
