ROAR: Dealing with Strong Emotions
ROAR is a FREE 6 week program for young men in Years 9 & 10 (or equivalent) who live, work, study or hang-out in Knox.

Through weekly group fitness sessions at Fitness First Knox and program time, which will be facilitated by a Knox Youth Services, Youth Development Worker and Youth Psychologist, participants will cover themes such as; anger, anxiety, depression, love & sex, grief & loss, power food, and holistic wellbeing.

Dates: Thursday 16 May, 2013 - Thursday 20 June, 2013.
Time: each Thursday from 1.30 - 3.30pm
Venue: Meet at 1.30pm at Fitness First Knox, Knox Ozone then onto the Knox Youth Information Centre, Knox Ozone

KYS Brochure

The 2012 KYS Resource Poster
The Knox Youth Services Resource Poster is a resource designed for schools, agencies, general practitioners and workers that provide support and guidance to young people between the ages of 10 – 25 years in Knox.

The Knox Youth Information Centre and other agencies, predominantly in the local area, are included on the Knox Youth Services Resource Poster.

The Knox Youth Clinic
The Knox Youth Clinic is a free service for young people 12-25 years, located at the Youth Information Centre in the Knox O-Zone and is open every Tuesday afternoon from 2-5pm.

The clinic provides free and confidential services to young people for a range of health care matters such as: sexual health, mental health, and drug and alcohol issues. Young people can see a youth nurse and be linked in with a local youth friendly GP if required.
