Knox Pets In The Park 2015

Pets in the park

Council will hold its annual Knox Pets in the Park, between 10:00am - 4:00pm on Sunday 19 April 2015 at Gilbert Park Reserve on Ferntree Gully Road, Knoxfield.

The aim of the event is to promote businesses, organisations and clubs at one event, incorporating all types of animals as pets, with the theme being "Responsible Pet Ownership".

Pet Parade

Get your pet ready to enter the Pet Parade to win major prizes. The parade takes place at 11:00am and 1:30pm.

Categories: Best Dressed, Best Trick and Most Unusual Pet.

Please register at the Local Laws Information Tent. Registrations are open until 30 minutes prior to the Pet Parade start time. Spaces are limited.

Bring along your pets for a chance to win some great prizes

There are lots of competitions for you and your pet to participate in on the day including fastest fetch, egg and spoon race, best tennis ball retrieve plus lots more.

Discounted Microchipping

National Pet Register will be providing discounted micro chipping for $30 per pet at the event.


The Main Stage will feature a variety of talks and performances by Animals of Oz, Victor and Victoria and feature act Cat in the Hat.


Spoil your pet with a range of tasty treats, accessories, toys and outfits.
