Masked youth film  Free to Be Me

‘Masked’ is a short film created and produced by a group of incredible LGBTIQ+ young people aged 15-18. They were supported by Knox City Council’s Youth Services team and the amazing work of Momentum Studios Australia.

MASKED is the story of High Schooler, Zoe, struggling to come out as a trans man. After knowing who they truly are for a while, Zoe finds themself fatigued by their fear of whether others will accept them or not.

Come and meet the young people involved, learn about their movie-making process and of course watch the movie!

Boronia Renewal - Have your say in Boronia

Boronia is changing and Knox City Council is seeking your thoughts and ideas to guide future planning. Whether you are a proud resident, a school student, a young professional or just someone that enjoys being in Boronia, we want to hear from you!

This survey will focus be focusing on three main areas of Boronia:

  • The train station;
  • Dorset Square; and
  • Boronia Park

You can choose to speak about all of the above areas or just choose one to focus on. Either way, all of your feedback is greatly appreciated and will help in the future planning of Boronia.

Every entry goes into the draw, with some fantastic prizes on offer to win!

Green Foot Flicks - Knox Youth Short Film Festial 2019

Applications are open!

Green Foot Flicks is back for 2019 and is calling for films from young people aged 10-25 years who live, work, study or have a connection to City of Knox. Films can be made in any style or genre, need to be no longer than 10 minutes and be rated G or PG. A selection of films will be screened at Knox Village Cinema during National Youth Week 2019.
