Masked - Short Film Premiere

Masked youth film  Free to Be Me

Masked is a short film created and produced by a group of incredible LGBTIQ+ young people aged 15 - 18 years. The young people were supported by Knox City Council's Youth Services team and Momentum Studios Australia.

The film is the story of High Schooler, Zoe, struggling to come out as a trans man. After knowing who they truly are for a while, Zoe finds themself fatigued by their fear of whether others will accept them or not.

Parents Building Solutions - Parenting as a Team

Workshop sessions will be delivered by Anglicare, Parentzone and Knox City Council Youth Services for parenting couples (partners, separated parents, grandparents, carers, etc).

What was it like for you, growing up? How was your co-parent parented? Would you like to be the best parent you can be? How do you want to work as a team to get the best outcomes for your children?

Come along and chat with other Parenting Teams about the best ways to parent together!

Green Foot Flicks - Knox Youth Short Film Festial 2019

Applications are open!

Green Foot Flicks is back for 2019 and is calling for films from young people aged 10-25 years who live, work, study or have a connection to City of Knox. Films can be made in any style or genre, need to be no longer than 10 minutes and be rated G or PG. A selection of films will be screened at Knox Village Cinema during National Youth Week 2019.
