Immerse Expressions of Interest

Immerse 2021

Immerse Expressions of Interest are now closed

The Immerse 2021 Exhibition Program will be taking place from 11 - 26 September 2021.
Stay tuned to our Facebook and Instagram for updates.

Eligibility and Scope

The Immerse 2021 EOI is open to Melbourne based artists across all art disciplines and mediums including visual, performance, sound and beyond. Examples of previous works include urban murals, photography, sculpture, ephemeral works, projections, sound installations, 2D visual works, small objects, videography, and performance arts.

Knox encourages artists to think of new ways to share their work, moving into outdoor spaces where possible, onto unusual platforms, and sharing the messages behind their creative concepts in unique and inspiring ways.

Knox has a wide variety of indoor venues and outdoor spaces available for exhibitions and installation, including cafes, community centres, light boxes, a large-scale billboard, windows, walls and pavements.

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

Best Site-Responsive (specific to Knox area): $1000
Best Overall Exhibition: $1000
Knox City Council Acquisitive Award: $2000*

*The Acquisitive prize will be awarded to a work of $2000 or less in value for the Knox Civic Art Collection and after permission from the selected artist.
