Due to record rainfall, we're behind in our mowing schedule. We're unable to use our mowers while the ground is saturated and the long grass takes longer to mow. Our crews are working hard to catch up. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

"Finding islands of sanity in challenging times" workshop

This session will focus on creating an island of calm sanity through experiential mindfulness practices. We will explore emotional regulation and how to support yourself to find your Zen in challenging times. This will be an opportunity to find rest (and strength) as you stop, pause and bring kindness towards yourself.

This workshop is run by Eastern Health and Knox City Council and is facilitated by Jen Thompson from Yarra Valley Holistic Health. Jen has over 20 years experience as a psychotherapist and is dedicated to empowering people through connecting them to their values, increasing empathy, boundary setting, trauma-informed and strength-based mindset and strategies. Her workshops aim to inspire people to stay motivated when faced with adversity.

This is event is run during National Carers Week and is funded by Carers Victoria.

Bookings essential. Please email David.neef@easternhealth.org.au.
