The team at the Muddy Girl Pottery Studio in The Basin are inviting residents to help them put the final touches to 5 unique pieces of public art.

Muddy Girl Studio, a pottery studio and school located in The Basin, are inviting residents to help them create one-of-a-kind pieces of public art for The Basin Triangle Park.

Participants will be asked to use stencils to carve figurines and paint images of local animals and plants to decorate 5 drum-like ceramic stools made by pottery teachers at the school. The aim is to link the chairs with their immediate surroundings – a wonderful environment full of native animals and plants.

Pottery wheels will be on full display for the public, and demonstrations of ceramic painting skills will be shared with visitors during the workshops.

This is a family-friendly event however it is targeted at adults and all children must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.  Tickets are free!
