Due to record rainfall, we're behind in our mowing schedule. We're unable to use our mowers while the ground is saturated and the long grass takes longer to mow. Our crews are working hard to catch up. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

As part of Biodiversity Month 2022, the Knox Environment Society (KES) invites you to join in a guided tour of their indigenous plant nursery and learn about the work they do.

For over 40 years, the Knox Environment Society (KES) have worked hard to protect our local biodiversity and educate our community on environmental and sustainability matters.

To help achieve these goals KES operates an indigenous plant nursery.

Ever wondered; what's in those polyhouses? Why do they mostly grow tube stock rather than large pots? Why have a huge purpose-built seed storage room? Why indigenous plants?   Have your questions answered by the Knox Environment Society.

Tours take place on Saturday 17 September at 10 am, 11 am and 12 pm.

For more information, please contact the Knox Environment Society

This event is provided as part of Biodiversity Month 2022.  For a full list of events, please see our events page.
