Mental health awareness session

Attend a free session to learn how to start a conversation with someone in your community group or sports team, that you my be concerned about.

Creating a club or group that is supportive of positive mental health and wellbeing is an important way to help, and keep, members.

As part of Mental Health Month 2022  we are offering a free mental health and wellbeing sessions for community groups and sports club members.

In this session, you will learn:

  • how to identify the signs that someone needs help
  • when to get help for yourself and others in your community group or sports team.

Following this introduction, groups can opt for a 4-part individual assessment or program with Leisure Networks to receive tailored advice.

These sessions are for everyone aged 16+ with an interest in better understanding mental health to support others.
