Stringybark Festival is taking place on Sunday 15 October 2023, between 10am and 4pm at the Rowville Community Centre and surrounding parklands.
Local businesses, makers, leisure clubs, community organisations and sustainability groups are invited to participate.

Maker stallholders will be located indoors within the Stringybark Makers Market.
Performers and presenters
We are looking for performers and artists to take part in Stringybark Festival, including:
- art
- performance
- nature play
- environmental education
- DIY backyard workshops
- sustainability activities
Please email us at events@knox.vic.gov.au with your expression of interest (include contact details and links to your website or social media pages).
Timeline
- Expressions of interest applications open on Monday 15 May
- Expressions of interest applications close at 3pm on Friday 7 July
- Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application before 5pm on Friday 14 July
Criteria
We are looking for stallholders and food vendors that promote sustainable living, such as:
- nature, play and active challenges
- interactive and educational environmental space
- arts and creative play activities
- hand made, home grown and up-cycled products
- socially and culturally engaging spaces that celebrate our local community
- practices that support environmental sustainability and green living
- local opportunities for social, cultural and environmental participation in daily life
- information and demonstrations on 'do it yourself' practices and products

Stallholder/Food Vendor Terms and Conditions
Commercial stallholders and food vendors
Commercial food vendors are commercial businesses operating from a marquee or vehicle offering food and/or drinks prepared on site, to be consumed at the festival. This includes ice cream, coffee and hot food.
Commercial stallholders are commercial or maker stallholders selling or promoting products and services. This may include some food options such as packaged confectionery, preserves and jams.
Maker stallholders are individuals that sell products that are handmade, home grown or up-cycled by themselves either as a hobbyist or a business. Additional information may be requested to ensure that the handmade, home grown or up-cycled criteria is met.

Community stallholders and food vendors
Community food vendors are community groups or not-for-profit organisations selling food products as a fundraiser. This may include sausage sizzle, hot dogs, hamburgers and poffertjes.
Community stallholders are community groups or not-for-profit organisations promoting or fundraising. Community groups and not-for-profits are asked to provide a free activity that aligns with our theme. This does not include information-gathering exercises, such as raffles, petitions or database registrations.
Community groups and not-for-profits may be asked to provide their Incorporated Registration Number.
