Carols by Candlelight program announced

The full program for the 2021 Virtual Carols by Candlelight has just been announced. This much-loved festive tradition will be livestreamed on Facebook on Saturday 11 December.

The entertainment kicks off at 7:15 pm when kids, young and young at heart, can sing, dance and giggle with Lah-Lah, Australia’s premiere band for young children. Everyone is invited to join Lah-Lah, Squeezy Sneezy and the rest of the group on a magical, musical Christmas journey.

At 7:45 pm the winners of this year’s Knox Factor will be announced!

The main carols program starts at 8pm and features country music’s Golden Guitar winner, Andrew Swift; the lead singer of “The Bamboos”, Kylie Auldist; multi-award winning blues artists, The McNaMarr project; and former Knox Factor winner, Lynn Ng.

This year’s performers will be supported by local community choir, The Chime Choir, and the incredible musicianship of the Royal Australian Navy Band Melbourne featuring their own talented soloists, Tracy Kennedy and Stephanie McCorkelle.

The highly anticipated arrival of a very special guest will be presented by the talented performers of 3d Arts, as they bring to life a true Aussie Christmas.

We are also pleased to welcome back Craig Irvine as Master of Ceremonies; a skilled radio and cabaret performer and teacher. For the twentieth year running, our Program Director, Peter Grant OAM has once again developed an engaging program of musical talent, featuring amazing solo, choir and band performances.

The festivities wrap up around 10 pm.

Once again, Knox Carols partners with the Knox Gives campaign, a local support fund managed by Knox Infolink. Please give generously and support locals in need at Christmas time.
