- Detox your home
Detox Your Home is a free, safe way to dispose of unwanted household chemicals from your home, shed, or garage.
The program is delivered by the Victorian Government through Sustainability Victoria in partnership with Council. Toxic household chemicals are safely disposed of and recycled to keep them out of landfill.
The next Detox Your Home mobile collection in Knox is on Sunday 15 May 2022 at the Knox Operations Centre, 14 Henderson Road, Knoxfield.
With your safety in mind, Detox Your Home events are now drive-through and contactless, supported by a COVIDSafe plan.
Registrations are essential. Limited spots during the day are still available.
Please note:
- toxic household chemicals, such as cleaning products, pool chemicals and pesticides will be accepted.
- However, not all household chemicals will be collected.
- Please check what you can and can't drop off before attending the Detox Your Home drop-off.
For more information about the Detox Your Home event please visit our website.
