A COVID-19 vaccination pop up will be held in Knoxfield this weekend for locals aged 12 and older.
The Department of Health will host the walk-up clinic at Fairhills High School from Friday to Sunday, open to all members of the local community. You do not need a booking to get a vaccination at this pop up.
The pop up will be held at:
Fairhills High School
330 Scoresby Rd, Knoxfield
4pm - 8pm Friday 8 October
10am - 6pm Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 October
Both first dose and second dose Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccinations will be available. Remember if you are coming forward for your second dose, make sure you received your first dose at least:
- three weeks prior for Pfizer vaccine
- six weeks prior for AstraZeneca vaccine
Bring your Medicare card or individual health care identifier with you, if you have one, along with proof of age. Young people can bring a consent form signed by a parent or guardian if not attending with them.
Remember to wear a face mask and practice social distancing while getting vaccinated.
Getting a COVID-19 vaccine will help protect you from getting sick from COVID-19. The vaccines are very effective at preventing serious illness and death due to COVID-19. By getting vaccinated, you are protecting your health, and helping protect your family, friends and community.
