- Join us for National Tree Planting Day 2024
To celebrate, join us at our free, family-friendly event to discover the wonders of nature and contribute to our local environment by planting 3,000 native trees, shrubs, and ground covers at Koolamara Waters Reserve, Ferntree Gully, a hotspot for waterbirds in Knox.
- Support local biodiversity by improving habitat for local flora and fauna, linking Koolamara Waters to nearby areas such as the Dandenong Ranges.
- Help us increase the tree canopy cover in Knox to 30% by 2050 in line with our Biodiversity Resilience Strategy 2024 – 2034 and Climate Response Plan 2021 - 2031.
- Meet other biodiversity enthusiasts and some of our local environmental volunteer groups.
- Enjoy a free BBQ
