In order to broaden the range of mental wellbeing information available to the Knox community, Council are now running a series of webinars tailored for particular groups of residents. These include members of the Indian community in Knox, parents of children and teenagers, and tradies and their families.
Available online in September and October, these webinars offer information and tips to help support yourself and others during these challenging times.
- How are you really? Self-care for the Knox Indian community – 27 September – provides information on how to manage stress and support your mental wellbeing.
- Building mentally healthy kids – 6 October – tips on how to develop your child’s resilience, relationship skills and self-esteem.
- Tradie Talk – 12 October – offers support for local tradies, tips on having tough conversations, being a good listener and where to get help and support.
All the sessions are delivered by mental health professionals and specialist community organisations.
