- New fenced dog park for Rowville
Emerson Place Reserve is located along Braeburn Parade in Rowville, directly opposite the popular Wellington Village Shopping precinct and is the first of three new fenced off-leash dog areas planned for Knox.
The new space has two main areas with a transition area between them, featuring a large off-leash dog area for general play and a smaller space for smaller, more timid dogs. The design reflects feedback from the local community and has blended perfectly into the open space of the reserve.
Mayor Cr Lisa Cooper, Councillors Pearce, Laukens and Seymour yesterday unveiled a plaque to acknowledge the state government’s generous contribution to the project through the Suburban Parks Program and officially open the new fenced dog area.
So, for Rowville residents living within 5km of Emerson Place Reserve, take your family and dog to the new dog park for a run and play in this great new space.
