Stringybark is a free community event celebrating homegrown creativity, sustainability and all things local.

The program runs from 10am-4pm and features:

  • home-made, homegrown and nature play activities
  • gardening and sustainability workshops
  • stage performances from local and regional acts
  • a maker's market with handmade and environmental products
  • cooking demonstrations on the backyard tucker stage
  • outdoor games
  • amusements
  • children's activities

Stringybark is a much-loved community event that has been running for over 30 years in Knox. This is the first time since 2019 that the festival is back in person.
