Seniors and Aged Care

Knox City Council is committed to taking an age-friendly approach to the services that Council and community deliver and value.

In essence, Council is committed to supporting a 'whole-of-life' approach to health.

Active Ageing is the process of making effective use of opportunities for physical, social and emotional wellbeing to enable older people to actively participate in society. We aim to help older Knox residents enjoy active, healthy and independent lives.

'A Guide to Disability and Aged Services in Knox' provides information on aged services and support available in the Knox area. This guide is available upon request from Knox City Council offices and also available in audio and braille upon request.

You can download our Guide to Disability and Aged Services (PDF) or request a hard copy to be posted to you by contacting Customer Service on 9298 8000 or the National Relay Service on 133 677 (quote '03 9298 8000) or email
