- Help shape our Community Engagement Policy
Have you shared your feedback on a Council project before?
We want to hear about your experiences participating in Council consultation activities to ensure our Community Engagement Policy continues to reflect the community’s expectations.
The opportunity to have a say and be listened to makes us feel valued. It gives us a sense of ownership of processes and outcomes and adds to our sense of community spirit and connectivity.
Community engagement values and acknowledges the skills, views and expertise in the community. This leads to strengthened local democracy, better community outcomes and an increase in community trust.
Our Community Engagement Policy guides how community views inform Council decisions, policies, plans, services and projects. Since developing the current policy in 2021, Council has delivered over 100 consultations. It is time to review the policy to respond to changing community expectations.
To find out more and share your feedback, please visit Knox Have Your Say.
