Knox Sport and Leisure Awards

The Women in Sport Leadership Award is awarded to women volunteers who have made a significant contribution to their club whilst holding a position(s) of leadership such as a committee member, coach or official. This award is open to people who identify as women.

Please make sure you read the information about each award category and eligibility criteria on the Knox Sport and Leisure Awards web page.

Nominations close 9:00 am Tuesday 10 March 2026.

Eligibility criteria

To be considered for this award, the nominee must meet all the following requirements:

must be an unpaid volunteer (volunteers who receive allowances or honorariums are eligible)
must volunteer for a Knox-based club
must not have won any awards at the Knox Sport and Leisure Awards in the last two years.

Prepare clear answers up to 200 words describing how the nominee played an active role in developing or delivering programs that benefit the club or community.
