Knox Sport and Leisure Awards

Recognition for Years of Service is given to long standing volunteers within local sport and leisure clubs, with recognition commencing at 20 years of service and increasing in increments of 10 (e.g. 20, 30 etc).

The Years of Service does not need to be consecutive years. It can be a total of accumulated years of voluntary service (not including the years that the nominee has had away from the club, or in a non-volunteering role).

Nominees will be assessed for suitability in this category.

Nominations close 9:00 am Tuesday 10 March 2026.

Eligibility criteria

To be considered for this award, the nominee must meet all the following requirements:

  • must volunteer for a Knox-based club
  • must be an unpaid volunteer (volunteers who receive allowances or honorariums are eligible)
  • must be nominated for their term at the club as a volunteer or as a volunteer/player. Do not include any time spent solely as a player.

Before you start

  • Inform your nominee and obtain their consent to share their contact details
  • Plan your responses as the form cannot be edited once submitted
  • You cannot save progress, so allow up to 10 minutes to complete the form
  • Prepare a brief timeline of the nominee's volunteer roles at the club (up to 200 words)
  • Optional - attach up to 3 photos of the nominee (JPG format).
