Move Your Way for Mental Health

Support your wellbeing this October for Mental Health Month and discover new ways to get moving with a range of fun, free activities across Knox.

About Move Your Way for Mental Health Month

Move Your Way celebrates and promotes the benefits of regular movement and being active in ways that work for you. During Mental Health Month this October, we’re offering a selection of free Move Your Way sessions for community members to support their wellbeing by getting active with others.

We know an active lifestyle can help:

  • improve mood
  • reduce stress
  • boost energy levels
  • improve sleep
  • strengthen social connection.

Getting active doesn’t have to mean organised sport or high-intensity exercise. Everyday activities like gardening, walking, yoga and stretching can all make a positive difference to your health and wellbeing.
