Knox Parent Information Session; Raising Boys and Raising Girls with Steve Biddulph

Knox City Council Youth Services and CityLife Church are offering an opportunity for parents to attend two evenings (just one or both) by Steve Biddulph. Raising Boys (Monday 20 May, 2019) and Raising Girls (Thursday 23 May, 2019).

Steve Biddulph is one of the world’s best known parent educators. A psychologist for over 30 years, his books – including Raising Boys, Raising Girls and The complete secrets of Happy Children – are in over 4 million homes worldwide. But it’s his live talks that have affected parents most deeply, attracting over 130,000 mums, dads and grandparents across 32 countries.

Knox Youth Services Resource Guide (2019) - Poster and Booklet

The Knox Youth Services Resource Guide is a resource designed for schools, agencies, general practitioners and workers that provide support and guidance to young people between the ages of 10 – 25 years in Knox.

This new guide has been developed and produced in a Poster (A2) format and a Booklet format. If you would like a copy of the Resource Guide in Poster format or booklet format, contact Megan Parker, Youth Administrative Officer on 9298 8000 or email megan.parker@knox.vic.gov.au to arrange pick up or delivery.

Masked - Short Film Premiere

Masked youth film  Free to Be Me

Masked is a short film created and produced by a group of incredible LGBTIQ+ young people aged 15 - 18 years. The young people were supported by Knox City Council's Youth Services team and Momentum Studios Australia.

The film is the story of High Schooler, Zoe, struggling to come out as a trans man. After knowing who they truly are for a while, Zoe finds themself fatigued by their fear of whether others will accept them or not.
