Knox City Council offers a range of information forums and workshops for parents, carers, families and organisations working with young people.
These information sessions can cover a broad range of topics such as:
- anxiety

- health and wellbeing.
The sessions can provide guidance, information and support to assist parents and others, to navigate parenting in a practical and understanding way.
We run sessions at Knox City Council Civic Centre or via webinar and they usually feature a guest speaker.
Outer East Youth Service Providers Network
The Outer East YSPN is a free network for people who work with young people aged 10 to 25 in Melbourne’s outer east. It offers networking and professional learning opportunities for not-for-profit and public sector organisations, including schools and education providers.
The network is run in partnership with Maroondah, Knox and Yarra Ranges Councils.
The network:
- helps youth service providers connect and work together
- supports members to share information, resources and best practices
- provides professional development to build skills and knowledge
- contributes to the ConnectUs online directory of youth services in Outer East Melbourne.
