Retirement villages and multi-unit complexes

If you live in retirement village or multi-unit development managed by a body corporate (such as an apartment complex) and still don’t have the new food and garden bins, your bin days may not show correctly. Please call our Customer Service team on (03) 9298 8000 to confirm your bin days.

We are working with body corporates and centre management to coordinate how to roll out the food and garden service by November 2023.

In the meantime, your rubbish bin will continue to be collected weekly. If you have access to the old garden waste bins (with a red lid), you can start adding food scraps.
