Increase your understanding of family violence and learn what to do if someone tells you they are experiencing family violence by applying the 3Rs - Recognise, Respond, Refer.
The 3Rs of Family Violence training is designed to increase your understanding of family violence and build your knowledge of what to do if someone tells you they are experiencing family violence.
During this three-hour training session, you will learn about the connection between gender and family violence, how you can play an active role in challenging community attitudes that drive gender inequality and family violence in Australia.
Learning outcomes:
- Recognise the signs of family violence
- Respond appropriately to disclosures
- Refer to specialist services
Who should attend:
- Anyone is welcome and will benefit
- Community organisations and sporting clubs
- Local businesses and services
This session is being run by FVREE – Free from Family Violence
