About the project
Built in 1976, the pavilion no longer met modern standards. The Tormore Reserve Masterplan was adopted by Council in 2016 and outlined a significant redevelopment of the pavilion to address outdated and inadequate facilities.
The project included:
- updated player change rooms and 2 umpire change rooms
- accessible facilities, improved pathways and parking
- first aid and training spaces
- community meeting spaces and a social room
- new kitchen, servery and kiosk facilities
- spectator viewing balcony overlooking the reserve.
This project was jointly funded by Knox City Council, with $5 million from the Australian Government's Investing in Our Community program, and $1.2 million from the Victorian Government through the Community Support Fund.
Location
Tormore Reserve Pavilion is located at 16 Tormore Road, Boronia
