- Kindergarten community panel
Have you got your invite?
6000 randomly selected Knox households will receive an invitation to help answer the following question:
How can we manage the changes needed to our kindergarten services to provide the best value to the whole community?
Knox City Council is reviewing its role as an early years manager and kindergarten service provider in response to state government reforms and financial realities.
As part of this review process, we are forming a community panel. You don’t need any prior knowledge to take part. All you need is an open mind, a willingness to hear the information presented, and to share your opinions with us and other panel members.
The panel will then develop feedback for Council to consider in determining the best way forward.
Selected participants will need to attend four sessions in March and April 2023. To recognise your time commitment, you’ll receive $250.00 at the completion of the panel.
Who we want to hear from
We want to hear from past, current and future kindergarten users to ensure changes continue to enable Knox families to access quality kindergarten.
We also want to hear from community members that are interested in exploring how Council delivers community services to provide best value to the community.
Panel members will be selected via a random selection process by our independent consultants. The selection process will seek to form a panel that reflects the diversity of the Knox community.
