Join 100,000 participants around Australia to log the number of individual birds and species in Knox. Some of the best bird watching spots include:
- Koolamara Waters Reserve, Ferntree Gully
- Wicks Reserve, The Basin
- Lakewood Nature Reserve, Knoxfield
How to participate?
- Head outside for 20 minutes
- Count the number of birds you see and make note of the different species
- Use BirdLife Australia's inbuilt 'Bird Finder' tool in the app to help you identify birds you are unsure of
- Submit your bird count
