Knox Fest 2026

Knox Fest is a free community event which invites the people of Knox to come together and celebrate community life.

Knox Fest is a free community event welcoming locals to come together and celebrate community life.

This much-loved event will return on Saturday 28 February 2026 from 10am to 10pm at Wally Tew Reserve, Ferntree Gully.

Featuring a range of activities for the whole family including live music, amusement rides, cooking demonstrations, food trucks, arts and outdoor play, youth hub, kids activities, active hub, community and market stalls, ‘come and try’ activities and heaps more!

FREE entry.

Please note, there will be a fireworks display at approximately 9:45pm.

Knox Fest is an all ages, family friendly, alcohol/ drug/ smoke/ vape free event.

Please leave your pets at home, however guide dogs and companion dogs are welcome.

Getting to Knox Fest:

There is no public parking at the event. Please walk, ride or take our free shuttle bus to the festival.

  • Best pedestrian entry points are via Burwood Highway and Brenock Park Drive
  • Bike parking is located near the Lyndale Court entry. Please BYO bike lock.
  • Accessible parking is located via the Glenfern Road entrance.
  • Do not park on nature strips, in front of driveways or where there is a continuous white line. Adhere to all road rules and signage. No parking on Blackwood Park Drive.

Two free shuttle buses will be running on a regular loop to and from the event, starting at 11am.

  • Bus one will run between Ferntree Gully Station and Brenock Park Drive.
  • Bus two will run between Upper Ferntree Gully Station, Kings Park and Brenock Park Drive.
  • Download the bus timetable. Buses will not operate between 2:20pm-2:40pm and 6:00pm-6:20pm.

Lost Kids

Visit the Information Tent when you arrive to get a free wristband for your child. Write your phone number on the wristband so staff can contact you if your child gets lost.

There will be plenty of Knox staff and contractors on site to assist with your little ones. 

Accessibility

We welcome patrons of all abilities, and are keen to support a great day for all, by providing the following accessibility features:

  • A Changing Places facility is available at the Wally Tew Reserve, located at the permanent toilet block near the windmill
  • Accessible parking is available via the Glenfern Road entrance
  • Sealed paths to assist patrons to make their way around the festival. Some activities take place on grassed/uneven surfaces and inside the Ferntree Gully Community Arts Centre.
  • A Chill Out Space is available for those needing a break from the busy festival site.
